destitute soldier who has been traumatized by war. The violence
of his experience translates into sinister behavior back home,
making for an intense and extraordinary night at the theater.
Created by legends Robert Wilson and Tom Waits, based on a true
story that became a major incident in the debate over capital
punishment, Woyzeck is a west coast premiere, and we’re
proud to have it on Shotgun’s stage.
