You may park in the Ashby
BART parking lot for free after 4pm on weekdays. On weekends, the
parking lot is taken over by a fle market and so street parking
only is available. On Friday nights, please park in the area closest
to the theatre along Ashby Avenue. The folks at the flea market
will be cleaning up and that area is cleaned first.
BUS
in the East Bay: Take AC Transit bus #12 via
MLK Jr. Way, or the #49
bus via Ashby Ave.
from SF: Take the F bus from the SF Bus terminal, get off at the corner of Ashby and Adeline
BART
The Ashby Stage is directly across the street from the Ashby Bart station. The Ashby station is on the Richmond line;
if you are coming from outside the East Bay, and there is
no Richmond train available from your station, you will need
to take a Pittsburg/Bay Point train and transfer at MacArthur.

Southampton Avenue between San Diego Road and
Somerset Place in Berkeley.
BART/AC TRANSIT
Take the #7 AC
Transit Bus north from Downtown Berkeley BART
station. Once you pass the Arlington Circle, watch
for our billboard out on the
corner of Arlington and Southhampton Avenue.
CAR (from SF)
• Take the
80 N toward Berkeley/Sacramento.
• Take the Buchanan exit towards Albany.
Turn right onto Buchanan after exiting.
• Go .5 mile on Buchanan, fade right (Buchanan
then becomes Marin) and drive 1.6 miles east on
Marin to the roundabout at the Marin Circle.
• Take a right on Arlington Ave and go 1/3
of a mile to Southampton.
• Turn right onto Southampton – drive
one block and look for parking to the left or
right.
Sometimes the seating at John
Hinkel Park can be a little bumpy or twiggy. We recommend bringing
a blanket, pillow or old beach chair to make your experience more
pleasurable. We cook sausages every day - so if you forget to pack
a picnic - we've got it covered.
